These methods, which involve the creation of AI models that can generate novel data or content, hold promise for accelerating medical innovation, improving diagnostic accuracy, and personalizing treatment regimens. However, the adoption of open generative AI in healthcare also presents numerous issues and challenges. This talk will explore the landscape of open generative AI in healthcare, including its potential applications, ethical considerations, regulatory hurdles, and technical limitations.
