BIO:

Dr. Hridoy Jyoti Mahanta is a Scientist in CSIR North East Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat and heading the Advanced Computation and Data Sciences Division. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Professor at AssaM Don Bosco University, Guwahati. Dr. Mahanta is a computer scientist by training and completed his PhD in the area of applied cryptography. Currently his works are focused towards integrating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in solving fundamental problems of Natural Sciences. His current areas of research are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Chemoinformatics, database development and development of software for Computer Aided Drug Design.
